KHQ

Most of you know that my neighbor, two moms from her church, and myself do a small pre-school for our young kids. Nicole, the neighbor, found out that a member of her church is a meteorologist for the local NBC station. She asked her a couple months ago if we could get a tour for the kids, and the meteorologist (Julia) was happy to oblige.

This was an amazing field trip! Here we are in the lobby waiting for Julia.

We got a tour of the control room and the news room.

Here is where the real fun began!

Pretending to be news reporters

Discovering the "green screen"

Using the invisibility cloak (a green blanket)

What a wonderful time! Thank you Nicole, Julia and KHQ!

Style by Claire

Rule number one when you have a blog: Don't get behind! Yikes, I feel very overwhelmed at the amount of things that have happened in the past month and my desire to share them with the universe. All things in moderation, right? Right. Anyway, I have been wanting to post these pictures for awhile and now is as good a time as any.

Claire has been picking out her own outfits for the past few months now. I have taken a complete "laissez faire" attitude. We don't have fights in the morning (regarding clothing) and she is happy.

As you can see, she clearly has her own sense on style. Sometimes the outfits she puts together are hideous, other times they are borderline repulsive. But, if you look from the neck up, she is simply the most beautiful girl ever.

Here are some of my favorite outfits of hers.

The Jedi Song

About two weeks ago I traded in our broken tape player for a cd player in our car. The new stereo also had a head phone jack so I can plug in my i-pod. I had dreams of listening to all my great music and to all the podcasts that I download. However, my children have obviously had a different dream. This is the ONLY song we have listened to thus far with my new stereo.

Enjoy!
